Sara Rue guesting on Regis and Kelly
Hello! I was checking out Twitter this morning, and I see a tweet from Sara about taping a show for Regis and Kelly. Here’s the tweet:
Just taped @Regis_and_Kelly – I love them. I think Kelly and I would be best friends if we lived on the same coast. Airs tmw morning

Set your DVRs, your VCRs (people still use those?), your DVD recorders, your BluRay recorders, ummm… your mental alarms… haha.
Point is, if you want to see Sara tomorrow, tune in to ABC tomorrow morning at 9AM EST.
Sara Rue to Host CW Show
I finally got around to checking some of today’s news, and I find a new bit of info about our dear Sara. She will be hosting an upcoming reality show on the CW titled “Shedding for the Wedding”. Based on what I’ve read, it seems that this show is about ten couples who are competing to see who can lose the most weight before their wedding. Wild guess says the prize is a free wedding, but I didn’t look that much into it.
Keep an eye out for this show. It going to be a ‘midseason’ show, so expect this to come out around January of 2011.
New Jlogs, poker, and some other stuff
Wow! It’s only been 6 days since I last posted, and I’ve somehow missed 2 blog posts being put up. I wonder how that works? Haha. Anyway, here’s a clip from each post:
Week 20
Ok, this knee thing is starting to get to me. I’m on the mend and working out again, but just as I think it’s 100% better, it starts to hurt again. Argh. If I were a pirate I’d steal someone else’s knee. Ok, that was dumb. Anyway, regardless of my knee drama, I lost 1.2 pounds* this week by being super aware of my food choices (since I knew I wouldn’t be working out as much).
I like the pirate line. It’s not really funny, but any reference to a pirate is a win. Anyway, to the next post:
Week 21
I shoot more JC commercials next week and those are always great motivators. I remember how hard the wardrobe fitting was for my first commercial shoot. That was a really tough day. I admit it; I may have had to excuse myself from the fitting to shed a tear or two in the bathroom. But now, the wardrobe fittings are actually fun.
As always, the blogs can be viewed at the Jenny Craig site. Week 20 is here, and week 21 is here.
I’ve been pretty busy with other things so I haven’t really had a chance to get on here and update. I also seem to have missed on some new pictures coming out recently. While Sara was in New York City, she did some wedding dress “shopping” and some pics were taken while she was there. Here are a couple, and I’ve added a few others to the image gallery section of the site.
Also, in case no one has heard, Sara Rue will be attending a charity poker tournament on the 20th at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. This charity event is being put on by Annie Duke, and more information can be found here. Just another time I wished I lived anywhere near LA.
Debbie Does Pants
Hey everyone. This is sort of like news, and it’s indirectly related to Sara Rue, so I’m gonna put it here.
Deborah Gibson is doing an online auction to raise money for the Gibson Girl Foundation.
Mission Statement:
Gibson Girl Foundation awards scholarships to qualifying individuals who desire to attend an entertainment camp, but are unable to afford camp tuition. Gibson Girl Foundation scholarships may be used at any entertainment camp selected by the recipient. To obtain a scholarship application please click here.
So, the reason this relates to Sara is that Debbie is selling pairs of jeans. Jeans which have been worn and signed by celebrities. One such celebrity offering her pants to this is our good pal Sara. Here’s a pic of her with the jeans:
Visit Deborah Gisbson’s page here for information and a link to the auction site. Also, watch through the video she has so you can hear her say, “Yes, I’m writing Debbie. I give up.” I thought it was funny.
Not Since You screening
Hello fellow Rue fans! The movie Not Since You starring Sara Rue as ‘Doogs’ will be screening in Athens, Georgia from now until the 15th (my birthday!).
Athens will roll out the red carpet and play host to a little piece of Hollywood in the coming weeks. Feature film, “Not Since You,” produced by Epting Events’ Ashley Epting, is set to premiere at Ciné theatre in downtown Athens April 2 through April 15.
Read the whole story here at the Epting Events blog. This is good news, and hopefully we may see a general theatrical release soon? Maybe even limited, but anything is better than nothing, right? Well, here’s the trailer for the movie. Also, just below that, is Sara Rue talking about her character in the movie.
/media/notsinceyoutrlr.mp4 /media/notsinceyouint.mp4Spaced script
Hello everyone. I’m posting the script for the Spaced pilot episode that Sara Rue was a part of. Keep in mind that this is not a current pilot and was already passed on in 2008.
I was trying to get this embedded into the post, but I can’t seem to get it to work properly. Instead of spending time trying to get it to work, I’ll just link it here and you can download it, or if it open with Acrobat Reader or whatever program you use for pdf files, then cool. I don’t think was too bad. It’s been just over a year since I read it. I remember it kind of falling apart near the end, but maybe I was getting bored with it. And as usual, the script isn’t always the finished product. Here’s the link:
Feel free to register if you like and leave comments regarding what you thought of the script. It should play out better from reading it if you didn’t like the clips that were recently put online, since it seems to have lifted (mostly) straight from the original series.
And if it helps anyone visualize, here’s the cast listing from IMDB.com:
Josh Lawson … Ben
Sara Rue … Apryl
Federico Dordei … Christian Neubier
B.J. Clinkscales … Guy
Michelle Krusiec … Yumi
Yara Martinez … Vivienne
Timothy McCartney … Young Ben
Will Sasso … Bill
Dylan Sprayberry … Goat Boy
Private Practice Air Date
Hello again everyone! I’ve found an air date for the episode of Private Practice that Sara Rue will be a guest starring in.February 18th is the date in question. It shows on ABC at 10:00 PM eastern time. I can’t say I’ll be watching it live, as I don’t really watch tv live, but I’ll definitely get my hands on it and post a clip shortly after it airs. I’m excited to see her in a super dramatic role again, as much as I hate to see her in super dramatic roles… Does that make sense to anyone?
Here’s a little info I found on some random site. I assume the premature baby mentioned is Sara’s character’s child in the episode:
“‘Til Death Do Us Part” – As Violet continues to help Sam with Maya’s wedding, Naomi refuses to take part as she works with Addison and Pete to save the life of a 25-week-old premature baby. Meanwhile, Cooper suspects that Charlotte’s new boyfriend is abusing pills, on “Private Practice,” THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Guest Starring Rosanna Arquette (“Pulp Fiction,” “Desperately Seeking Susan”) as Dink’s Mom, Corinne, Sara Rue (“Eastwick,” “Less Than Perfect”) and Bruno Campos (“The Princess and the Frog,” “Nip/Tuck”).
“‘Til Death Do Us Part” was written by Craig Turk and directed by Kenny Leon.
Official site finally up!?!
Hey everyone. Sara’s site is up. Sara’s SITE IS UP! Sorry if I seem excited, but I’ve been away from my computer for almost 2 entire days! I come back and find that this is finally up and running?
Sorry. Here’s a link: http://www.sararue.com.
A quick perusal of the site shows a few vid clips and quite a few pics. Some of the videos aren’t the greatest quality (Less Than Perfect and Pearl harbor look like they’re from VHS), though others look good, although seem to be cropped for full screen aspect ratio…?
And it seems that the clip from Will and Grace is a re-encode of the clip I posted in the video section here as well as on YouTube. The start and end times seem awfully close. I hope they did use something from this site, but it doesn’t matter.
So, I ask you, faithful reader, if you haven’t already clicked that link to the site, what are you waiting for? Go! Now! Hehe.
