Some news coming in (not really. I just found it. Heh) from the interwebs is telling me that Sara Rue will be at a poer tournament this Wednesday. I’m sure she’s at quite a few, but seeing as how I’m not a close personal friend of hers (unfortunately), I only find out about the PR ones. Anyway, the Bicycle Casino is holding a “Celebrity-Media Invitational Poker Tournament” on Wednesday the 29th as part of an event to unveil their new poker ballroom. The cash prize will be split between the winner and the charity of the winner’s choice.

It’s been announced that the premiere date for the upcoming ABC show Eastwick is set for September 23rd. If my post from quite some time ago still holds true (I’ve seen nothing to tell me otherwise), then we should all be sitting in front of our televisions at 10 o’clock, EST. A quick verification on the ABC Eastwick site, and yup, it’s still correct. Excellent news that we have a date now. Poor news that it’s so far away!

I would like to thank @themidge82 (follow him on twitter, he’s lonely!) for double checking my news for me. I previously stated that Sara Rue was nominated for a Best Guest Actress Emmy, but I was mistaken. I could go on about how I should’ve checked more sources, or should’ve realized what I was looking at, but I won’t. I goofed, and I’m sorry.

Also, the For Christ’s Sake trailer was taken off of the Hamfatter YouTube account, but it’s still on my SaraRueFan YouTube account. I’ve decided to also add it here, as I won’t remove it for ‘violating community guidelines’. Hehe. Enjoy!

@willsasso has recently tweeted the new Red Band trailer for the movie For Christ’s Sake. If any of you don’t know, this is posted here because Sara Rue stars in the movie as Candy (a porn star). I don’t usually make comments about how good she looks, since it’s a given but… Sara with black lipstick on? Holy crap, that’s fucking hot. Reminds me of the Halloween episode of Less Than Perfect where she’s dressed up as a vampire near the end.

So, previously I had mentioned that Sara Rue was submitted for nomination for the Best Guest Actress category of the Emmy Awards. It is now confirmed that she is a nominee for that category, for her role as Staphanie Barnett on The Big Bang Theory. Good Luck Sara!

My mistake! I read the list horribly, horribly wrong. She was submitted as previously stated, but did not make it to the actual nominee. New post as well!

Feels like it’s been forever, but I finally got a clip up from the Lifetime show The Division. I have others, but they’re not ready yet. In the meantime, here’s the one which is ready, and I believe this is all of Sara’s appearances in this episode, titled ‘Hide & Seek’. A couple clips now up from the 1999 movie Map of the World starring Sigourney Weaver. Sara plays a ‘cell mate’ in this movie, and uses her crazy good emotional acting, specifically in the first clip. Here’s a second clip which she’s technically only seen for a short time, but she’s the only one talking so I counted it.

In the next few days or so I’m hoping to have some clips up from the Lifetime drama The Division. Trying to work out some sync issues I’m having with them and then they can get up here too.
