I just watched Eastwick, and here are a few things that I thought of it.

The beginning was fun. It was light-hearted, fairly fast paced, and most of the jokes seemed to be crammed into the few minutes that it spanned. Also we got to see Sara Rue, so… bonus.

The rest of the show seemed kind of… I don’t know. It slowed down a LOT after the beginning sequence of scenes. THere were also a few lines that made no sense to me. The one that stands out to me is Rebecca Romjin saying, “What a weird day. Would you ladies like to get drunk?” This stands out because not enough had happened in my mind to consider it a ‘weird’ day, and the ‘drunk’ line makes no sense to me at the point where it’s said.

After this, things seem to go at the same general pace from there on, so I wasn’t very interested. Then again, I’m sure 30 year old males aren’t exactly the key demographic for this show. Here’s to hoping that the show get funnier as it goes, because I’d like to laugh before I head off for bed.

I’m not going to spend more time criticizing the show, because this isn’t that sort of site. So… Here’s a clip from the intro with Sara Rue as Penny and Lindsay Price as, ummm (checking IMDB), Joanna. Hopefully the episode will be available to watch on ABC.com soon, so keep an eye over there for it to show up in case you missed it.

I just saw this and needed to put it up ASAP. It’s really nothing, but I’m a big fan of Sara Rue (duh!) and also a big fan of music games (Guitar Hero, Rock Band, etc.). So, imagine my surprise when I see a pic of Sara posing with GH Smash Hits and GH 5.  Haha! This was at the Activision booth at HBO’s Luxury Lounge the day before the Emmy Awards. I bet it’d be fun to play those with her, though I imagine celebrities don’t have much time to get very good at those sorts of games, as I have. Anyway, here’s the pic, which will also be in the gallery.

P.S. I have 2 clips from Man Maid ready to go up on the site here. I just need to actually make a post for them. Maybe tonight…?

Found a story with a few quotes from Sara Rue regarding Eastwick and what it’s not. There’s also a new pic (new form what I know) on the page of her with Lindsay Price. A brief excerpt:

“I think it’s very different from Charmed. Charmed is so much more kind of, like, tongue in cheek, and there were creatures and other worlds and demons and things like that, and there’s not that here. It’s, I don’t know, a little more grounded in reality.”

Hello fellow Sara Rue fans! I’ve recently discovered that Less Than Perfect has a home on Hulu.com. They only have the first season up right now, but the quality is pretty good, especially when you click that little ‘480p’ button. You can find the page here.

Today is also the release date of Season 2 of The Big Bang Theory on DVD. In honor of this, I’ve added one more clip from the first of the 3 episodes that Sara Rue guest stars in. I’ve added the clip below, and it will also be available, as usual, in the video section of the website.

I’ve added 2 more videos to the Gypsy 83 page. These are both deleted scenes pulled from the extras section on the dvd. I like the first one specifically because in it Sara Rue is wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I’m a huge fan of casual dress.

The audio on these was pretty low, so I cranked it up, perhaps too far. That means be ready on your volume control if you’re watching these somewhere that you need to worry about that. Anyway, I’m posting both clips here, and they’ll also be available on the Gypsy 83 page in the Videos section. Enjoy!
