I’ve been listening to The Cure lately, but then again, when haven’t I?

Alright. The second Wednesday has gone by without Eastwick, so it should be returning next week. For those of you who read this and are curious, no it hasn’t been completely canceled yet. The show will still (for now) run through the rest of the episodes which were filmed. If my count is correct, there are six more episodes to be shown, and then that will be it. So it hasn’t been canceled as much as it just hasn’t been continued.

It’s also been brought to my attention that there is an effort in progress to get ABC to pick the show back up. I personally don’t think these online efforts do much, but it can’t hurt to try, right? You can go the the @SaveEastwick twitter page and from there follow links to sign the online petition, or link through to the ABC feedback page and you can write about your desire for the show to continue.

Other than that… I don’t really have much to post here. Henry’s Crime is, maybe, being filmed partially in Buffalo here in WNY. But that’s really got nothing to do with Sara Rue, does it? But this does. Here’s a clip from the last episode of Eastwick, mentioning Keanu Reeves, who happens to be starring in Henry’s Crime. So it all works out then. Cool.

Well, not really darkness,but I like that Disturbed song, so…

It’s may only be a tv show, but disappointing would be an appropriate term I suppose. It seems that ABC has chosen not to order more than the first 13 episodes of the show Eastwick. Right now, the plan is to bump the show for two weeks while things are on tv that I won’t watch, and then bring it back to finish off what was taped. Technically, the show isn’t canceled. It’s just running the course of what was originally wanted by the broadcasting company.

I can only hope for some resolution to the show’s mysteries. Anyway, here is what may possibly be my favorite Sara Rue moment of the series so far. Either this was written just for her, or she’s just that good at the delivery. I don’t know which, but it fits her comedic style PERFECTLY. Also, for some reason, I like hearing her say ‘back stabbing slutbag’:

Beyond this unfortunate news, I only have a few site related items. Nothing ground breaking, but I’m ok with that. Here’s what’s slightly new. I’ve added a few more pics to the gallery section. Some from the recent Ante up for Africa event. I’ve also added a new gallery, which will contain the pictures that Sara has posted on her twitter account. I asked for permission, and she responded with an enthusiastic seeming “YES!!! of course!!”. That’s a lot of punctuation.

I’ve also added Eastwick to the list of Video pages (finally) and there are 3 clips in total on that page.
