Hey everyone. Sara’s site is up. Sara’s SITE IS UP! Sorry if I seem excited, but I’ve been away from my computer for almost 2 entire days! I come back and find that this is finally up and running?

A quick perusal of the site shows a few vid clips and quite a few pics. Some of the videos aren’t the greatest quality (Less Than Perfect and Pearl harbor look like they’re from VHS), though others look good, although seem to be cropped for full screen aspect ratio…?

And it seems that the clip from Will and Grace is a re-encode of the clip I posted in the video section here as well as on YouTube. The start and end times seem awfully close. I hope they did use something from this site, but it doesn’t matter.

So, I ask you, faithful reader, if you haven’t already clicked that link to the site, what are you waiting for? Go! Now! Hehe.

Another blog post at the JC site?!? Wow. I think that every week I’ll be surprised by how quickly time is going by.

First, let’s all say a big Happy Birthday to Sara. Happy Birthday!!! She had her 31st yesterday (Tuesday) and I trust it was a good one.

Onto the post! Here’s a snippet:

Overall, I’d say this week was somewhat humbling, but ultimately inspiring. I faced some difficult challenges in sticking to the Jenny plan, didn’t succeed at some of them, but didn’t go off the rails like I might have in the past. As a result, I didn’t lose any weight this week… (but still at 20.8 lbs*!) Hey, at least I didn’t gain any. Overall, I’m still heading in the right direction and that has me feeling o.k. about myself.

This reminded me of a line from the pilot episode of Less Than Perfect. Claude says to Will, “You don’t think you’re perfect, but that makes you even more perfect.” I’d say it’s good to have a tough week. Makes you realize that this will take more work than you thought, and it will be even more rewarding in the end! Oh yeah. You can read the full post at Sara’s section of the Jenny Craig site.

Note: You may want to dump your cookies every now and then after visiting the site. I keep seeing Jenny ads popping up everywhere now. Some sites must have a script or something that checks for cookies to decide what ads to show. Unless you like the ads. That’s up to you.

Hello again! Just checked the Jenny Craig site, and what do I find? A new vlog from Sara Rue! I like this constant updating of my little site here. It makes it feel like I’m actually contributing to something. Enough of that though. Onto the vlog!

You can visit the site for the new vlog at the Jenny Craig site. I’ll post it below in this post in case it doesn’t work for anyone there, but please do watch it at the originating site if you can. I would like to mention that I laughed out loud (literally!) three times during this video. This means that it’s not just a blah, blah, blah update. It still contains Sara’s sense of humor, and that’s reason enough to go watch this at her Jenny Craig page.

Sara Rue has posted another Jlog over at JennyCraig.com. It’s week 6 already! Seems to be flying by. I wonder if it feels the same for her? Here’s my favorite part of this latest entry:

Sorry to talk your ear off, but I just want you to know that this not just some diet, it’s lifestyle change. I wanted to have a great little trip, with fun dinners out, and a lot of relaxation and I was able to do so without paying a price for it on the scale. Now that’s the lifestyle I WANT!! I feel like I finally might be figuring some stuff out. It’s pretty exciting.

I feel it’s important to also note that this post features what I believe to be the longest parenthesized(?) phrase I’ve ever encountered. I’d include that portion here as well, but I’ll let the reader try to find it.

In other news, it seems that I was correct about ABC skipping an episode of Eastwick when they had chosen which one to show last. The missing episode, titled ‘Red, Bath and Beyond’ was aired in the UK. I will say now that it makes it even more evident that the show had really hit it’s stride and found a comfortable balance between drama, comedy, and suspense. It’s unfortunate ABC pulled it. However, it’s gone for now, and I’ll try to get a clip up (Sara is only in one scene) sometime soon.

Some brief site content news. I’ve added a clip to the videos section from Season 3 of Less Than Perfect. This clip also features one of my favorite poker pros, Phil Gordon. Finally, I’ve added some recent pics of Sara out and about (oot and aboot for our Canadian friends :-p) at the HBO Luxury Lounge. I’ve added these to a 2nd gallery in the images section, as Gallery #1 was getting a bit crowded. I’ll leave you with a sample, and also my favorite of the new pics. So, here’s is what’s new in the public eye of Sara Rue. Is that right? Maybe FOR rather than OF? Hmmm… Anyway! There’s a new Jlog over at her little slice of Jenny Craig’s pie (is that a triple-entendre?!?) so be sure to check it out. As is the norm for this page, here is a brief clip from the post:

My consultant Michele constantly reminds me how important it is to reward myself for all my wins on this journey with non-food things, like…check it…a super awesome manicure!!! These nails will last a heck of a lot longer than a glob of sugar ever will. Plus, they’re SUHWEET!!

In future tv spot news, Sara has announced on her twitter account (@sararueforreal) that she will be in an upcoming episode of the ABC show Private Practice. I’ll be keeping an eye out for that in the next few weeks, and will post when I know when it will be airing.

Now for the site news. Nothing big, but I’m going to start working on a flash application for the videos section. No clue when it’ll be finished, if I can even get it to work how I want it to (I’ve never created in flash before). So, I’ll post an update when/if I get it going.

Jenny Craig, Sara Rue, Jlog, Week 4… What do these have in common? This post! Ha!

So, Sara has put up another Jlog on the Jenny Craig site. I think that she had done the one for Week 3 only a day or two prior, but I’m really not watching as closely as I probably should be. You know… Since I’m running a fan site for her and all!

Enough of that. On to the good stuff! Here’s a snippet from the post:

Now, here’s how I’m going to keep moving in the right direction: First, I’m now doing 100 crunches five times a week! (Don’t worry…I spread it out over the course of the day…puhlease:) Another thing I should mention about my exercising is that I work out AT HOME. Maybe as I get closer to my goal I’ll rock some spandex at a spin class, but lunging in my backyard is about as public as I’m gonna get right now!!

I’m a big fan of the humor that she’s putting in these updates. Though I’m not a fan of spandex. Not on anyone, even her. Hehe.

So, I have a clip from the last episode of Eastwick that ABC aired. I do think they skipped episode 11 and went with number 12, and probably because it seemed to have more of an ending for the series. There were a couple new “Huh?” moments, but the ending seemed like an ending, and I’m glad they did that.
