Unveiled:Bridal Style Revealed – New pics!

Another content update! I seem to be slacking off on these lately. Have to get back on that I suppose. Anyway, I’ve added some new pics to the Image Gallery (Gallery 02, to be specific). These were taken yesterday on the 28th at the Unveiled event in Los Angeles. It can only be assumed that Sara attended to get ideas for her upcoming wedding to fiancé Kevin Price.

Enjoy the pics, and here’s my favorite of the group I put up here.

Sara Rue’s JC blog – Week 14

Week 14?!? Really? Wow. These weeks are FLYING! Anyway…

Anyone out there who’s been watching this page for updates will know that this means a new Jenny Craig blog (I’m gonna keep the term Jlog!) has popped up from Sara RUe. It really fells like I just posted the last one here a couple days ago, but it’s been almost a week already. Well, here’s a clip from the post:

After having lost .4 lbs.* two of the past three weeks, I suddenly lost 3 lbs.* last week! Now, I totally wasn’t expecting a loss that big this past week because it was a pretty stressful bunch of days and I wasn’t absolutely perfect with everything. However, when I take a step back and think about it, it’s not that shocking. I guess I’ve gotten myself into a pretty good zone with this whole Jenny Craig plan. I suppose it helps that I like the food so much (speaking of which, has anyone tried the new ziti dinner that was just put out — delicious! I’ve been sautéing up some Eggplant, yellow pepper, zucchini, garlic and lots of red chili flakes…I like it spicy!)

The entire post can be read at the JC site here. No comments from me about the post this time. Purely informational! How’s that for a change? And, for fun, here’s a pic of the top that Sara refers to at the end of the post:

Another JC vlog

Sara has a new video log up at the Jenny Craig site. The video can be viewed here at the site. I’ve also added it below in case, like I always say, anybody can’t seem to play videos from the JC site but can here.

This video log accompanies her last jlog post nicely. I let it play while I was doing my usual super multitasking on the computer while making food and playing with my kids, but from what I could tell, it is like the last blog post in video form, with a ton more info. And also with video of Sara Rue, so it’s that much better. I don’t have much to add here, other than Sara is looking amazing as she always does. You can watch it at the JC site here, or as mentioned above, you can watch it right here.

Sara Rue Jlog – Week 13!

Wow. 13 weeks. Just over 3 months? Another Jenny Craig blog (yes, I’m going to keep using the Jlog term) has popped up on Sara’s section of the site over there. Now, she hit her goal weight loss in the last entry, and this is more of a “Hey guys. I’m still here and figuring this whole thing out” kind of thing. A least that’s how I see it. You’ll have to read it and decide what it sounds like to you, if you want. Here’s a brief cut:

But .4* isn’t exactly a huge drop, now, is it? I mean, I’m totally happy — psyched, even – but this last week was just a reminder that my last several pounds (still don’t know my final goal yet) won’t be a walk in the park. So…that being said, I am analyzing (dare I say, over-analyzing…) my life to figure out how I’m going to approach the coming weeks. For example, I have passed my halfway mark, which means I can do two Meals On My Own days. However, I happen to love Jenny’s dinners and I’d miss them those two days. Therefore, since I’m often working during the day and all over the place anyway, I’ve decided to make more of my lunches my Meals On My Own.

You can read the whole thing, as usual, at Sara’s bit of the Jenny Craig site here.

Also, in the post she states that she’s going to go to Vegas in two weeks, which happened last weekend (Mar 12 – 15 or so). This means, in case anyone else was wondering, that these posts or delayed by 3 weeks. Kind of strange if you ask me, but I’m sure there’s some reason for it somewhere. And if not, it isn’t important anyway. I’m just a bit particular about things like that I guess.

That’s all for this post, except one final note. I’ve finally gotten so many different videos up here that I’m not sure which I’ve already posted and which I haven’t. As soon as I go through them and figure out what I have that’s not up here, I’ll get something new (new for the site) up for you fans to enjoy. I’ve come to acquire some old magazine articles featuring Sara Rue, so maybe I’ll work on scanning them into some readable format. What do you think. Would you rather have jpg or pdf files of them?

Sara Rue Jlog – Week 12!!!

Hello again everybody! Sara Rue has reached her goal of losing 30 pounds! The week 12 Jenny blog (Jlog!) is now up at her slice of the Jenny Craig pie (mmmmm… pie…). Anyway, here’s little bit from the post:

And here I am, at that goal, and ready for a fun weekend. Now, I’ll be planning a lot of my meals on my own, so I need to really buckle down on portions, etc. No going backwards, Sara, no going backwards…only forwards. Which brings me to my next item on my “blog-agenda.” As I’ve already hinted, I am going for more lbs. Not sure how many yet, so you’ll have to keep reading here to find out. But there’s still a drawer full of jeans screaming to be slipped on as well as some BMI goals o’mine.

You can read the rest of the post at the Jenny Craig site here.

If this is correct, and she’ll be doing her own meals now, then I guess this will be the real test. Portions would be my biggest problem. Sure, I could eat healthy foods, but if they taste good, I’d probably eat too much at one time. Hehe. It also helps that I come from Western New York, where there’s so much good tasting food everywhere! *cough* chicken wings *cough*

Also, there’s that mention of BMI again, which I’m not a fan of. Either way, I support Sara in her decision to lose more weight and become a healthier person. It must feel good getting your life in order like she’s doing. Good luck Sara!

Sara Rue Jlog – Week 11

Hi there again! I saw this a couple days ago and didn’t get around to remembering to post the news here. Sara’s latest Jenny Craig blog (Jlog!) is up at the site. This one is for Week 11, and seems to be considerably shorter than they have been lately. Here’s a snippet:

So what the heck am I sighing about…

I guess because I’m just two pounds away from my original goal of 30 pounds, my friends!! TWO POUNDS. But I may go for more, MAYBE, so I need to MAYBE get my head around a new number. MAYBE. Why not? I’m getting the hang of this whole weight loss thing so I might as well continue to plunge into healthy BMI-territory while I’m here.

The full post can be read here. She’s almost at her weight loss goal, which is pretty cool. I’m excited for her to be able to accomplish something like this, even if it IS with help from a ’service’. What I’m not excited about, however, is the mention of the Body Mass Index (BMI). I don’t buy into it because it uses weight and height to calculate your level of body fat. Though some people, such as myself, weigh a bit more due to muscle mass and the general BMI calculators don’t take that into account.

Anyway, Sara has her doctor to tell her if she’s healthy or not. I’d trust a doctor over a BMI chart any day.

Spaced script

Hello everyone. I’m posting the script for the Spaced pilot episode that Sara Rue was a part of. Keep in mind that this is not a current pilot and was already passed on in 2008.

I was trying to get this embedded into the post, but I can’t seem to get it to work properly. Instead of spending time trying to get it to work, I’ll just link it here and you can download it, or if it open with Acrobat Reader or whatever program you use for pdf files, then cool. I don’t think was too bad. It’s been just over a year since I read it. I remember it kind of falling apart near the end, but maybe I was getting bored with it. And as usual, the script isn’t always the finished product. Here’s the link:

Spaced – US Pilot Script

Feel free to register if you like and leave comments regarding what you thought of the script. It should play out better from reading it if you didn’t like the clips that were recently put online, since it seems to have lifted (mostly) straight from the original series.

And if it helps anyone visualize, here’s the cast listing from IMDB.com:

Josh Lawson … Ben
Sara Rue … Apryl
Federico Dordei … Christian Neubier
B.J. Clinkscales … Guy
Michelle Krusiec … Yumi
Yara Martinez … Vivienne
Timothy McCartney … Young Ben
Will Sasso … Bill
Dylan Sprayberry … Goat Boy

Sara Rue in abandoned Spaced pilot

This had recently surfaced online. It’s a clip from the US pilot of the British comedy Spaced. Sara Rue plays as Apryl (Daisy for those who know the original). I reserve judgement on whether or not I like the pilot until I see the whole thing, if it ever shows up in its entirety, that is.
