Hello everyone. A quick post to tell you that I’ve found another video of Sara Rue from the World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational. I’ve added some subtitles as best as I could so we know what the interviewer is saying in between answers. Enjoy!

Hello everyone. I’m back from vacation and ready for more updates! Now if only my brain would stop feeling like it’s still on the plane…

Our first update is a new Jenny Craig blog up for your reading pleasure. Here’s a small taste of the delight:

I guess this week I’m just feeling really grateful and lucky to have the support system that I have (my consultant Michelle and I should give props to my lovin’, devoted and super cute fiancé) and to have a plan that works and doesn’t make me crazy. Because if this really is about a lifestyle change, then this is a lifestyle that I can deal with for the rest of my life. And that is a relief.

In addition to a new Jlog this week, there’s also a new Video blog that’s been posted. This one is appropriately titled ‘Q&A’ as Sara answers some of the more common question she gets asked regarding her ride on the JC wagon. I enjoyed the first 12 seconds of the video, and then it got all ‘informational’… and stuff. So go watch the video at the JC site here or if it’s not working for you, then try watching it below this post. If that doesn’t work as well, then what’s wrong with your browser? Haha.

Hello everyone! I’m still on vacation but saw that a new blog enytry was put up on the Jenny Craig site a couple days ago. Here’s a quick snippet:

But it’s times like these when I want to kiss the ground Michele walks on. Yes, the food’s great on Jenny, and yes, I love the convenience but it is MICHELE – my personal guru, cheerleader, teacher – who is helping me the most. She is so confident in me and so aware of what goes on physiologically (yes, I used spell-check) in our bodies and with our metabolisms…love her.

All I’m going to say about this is that we’re not told in this blog whether or not ‘physiologically’ was spelled correctly BEFORE or AFTER using spellcheck. That’s what I really want to know.

Hello everyone. 2 posts in one day! Wow. I must be feeling guilty for having neglected the updates lately. Haha. Anyway, I found the following video recently showing a little bit of the filming of Sara’s latest commercial for Jenny Craig. I found it from the Superiorpics.com forums (thanks PieMan). I wish I knew where this came from, and also if there are more out there! Hehe. Anyway, here’s the vid. Enjoy it.

Also, in site related news, I’m going off on vacation starting tomorrow the 15th (also my birthday. Yay!!!!) and won’t be back for 10 days. Hopefully Sara doesn’t do anything super important during that time. I’ll try to check my sources on occasion just in case.

One thing to note is the OC Hillel Charity Poker Tournament on April 25th. Held at the Bicycle Casino, Sara is currently expected to attend. More information can be found at the OC Hillel Charity Poker Tournament site.

I would also like to note that this is in memory of Bruce Manning, the gentleman who was kind enough to allow me the use of Sara’s pictures from last year. RIP Bruce.

Hello out there! There another Jenny Craig blog from Sara Rue up at the JC site. This one is week 16. It’s been about 5 months since she started (real time, not blog time)!  Here’s a clip:

So, there you have it. I gained weight for the first time since I started Jenny Craig almost four months ago. But, on the bright side, this was a great opportunity to learn from my lapse, to analyze what happened, to plan better for next time and MOVE ON. It was also kind of a good reminder of why I’m doing this in the first place. (Ugh, I was a chubby kid, do I still need a reminder?) But you know what I mean — this journey is about progress, not perfection…an important mantra for all areas of my life.

Yes, Sara had a ‘lapse’ and for a week actually gained a pound. Personally, I wouldn’t care about a pound, but I imagine that when you’re on a program to lose weight, gaining ANY would feel bad. Read the rest of the post here.

You really should go there if you can though. Give them some traffic too, right? Or not. Whichever. Hehe. By the way, I really like the color of the dress she’s wearing in this video. Not because she’s wearing it, mind you. It just happens to be my favorite color.

Is it just me, or does she sound like a valley girl when she says ‘food’ near the beginning? Hmmm…

Hello fellow Rue fans! The movie Not Since You starring Sara Rue as ‘Doogs’ will be screening in Athens, Georgia from now until the 15th (my birthday!).

Athens will roll out the red carpet and play host to a little piece of Hollywood in the coming weeks. Feature film, “Not Since You,” produced by Epting Events’ Ashley Epting, is set to premiere at Ciné theatre in downtown Athens April 2 through April 15.

Hello everyone! Sara Rue has yet another week’s blog up at the Jenny Craig site. This is week 15, and the general tone of the post seems… I don’t know. Less ecstatic(?) than usual. Personally, I like it, but I’ll explain why after this brief cut from the post:

I came really close to the perfect job — like, extremely close — and after several weeks of auditioning and screen testing, I found out that I didn’t get hired. It happens in my line of work. Doesn’t make it any easier. But I’ve got to be honest with you, this kind of rejection is a HUGE trigger for me. It touches on every fear and insecurity that I have and I find myself having a difficult time not reverting back to old behaviors and relying on comfort food to get me through

I like this post because it reminds us that this isn’t just a fun ride which will ultimately end with a healthier, happier Sara. It takes work, and real life things can and most likely will always happen which could cause backsliding. People attempting diets and changes such as this to their lifestyle need to press on and work through the issues that come at them. I think this post is more inspirational than any of the others that have been put up. Just my two cents. Until the next update!
