Wow. Lots to post here today… Ready? Here we go.

We start off with a new blog post. After weeks 30 and 31 having been missing from the JC site for a few days, they’re back along with week 32. Here’s a quick bit of the post:

What I’m saying is…seven months – or however long it takes you to get to your goal – is going to click away anyway, my lovelies, so you might as well use each day to your advantage, right? That’s my ‘second-week-on-maintenance’ bit of wisdom for you (that I stole from Abraham Lincoln.) Accept that time can click by IN YOUR FAVOR when you put your mind to it.

A nice bit of upliftiness for you. But, doesn’t time tick rather than click? I guess it can do whatever you want it to. It’s our concept, so it’ll make whatever noise we say it does, right? Haha. Onward!

I haven’t had a chance to watch the entire thing, but I’m sure it’s a lot of Sara telling us how happy she is that she reached her goal, and you can do it too and she’s proof of it. Generally what all of the vlogs are… Onward!

Got around to getting a clip pulled from the episode of Private Practice that Sara was in. I’ve added this to the video gallery list and to our YouTube site. Enjoy!

I finally got around to checking some of today’s news, and I find a new bit of info about our dear Sara. She will be hosting an upcoming reality show on the CW titled “Shedding for the Wedding”. Based on what I’ve read, it seems that this show is about ten couples who are competing to see who can lose the most weight before their wedding. Wild guess says the prize is a free wedding, but I didn’t look that much into it.

Keep an eye out for this show. It going to be a ‘midseason’ show, so expect this to come out around January of 2011.

There’s another post over at the JC site. Sara is done with the weight loss part of her journey and now has to concentrate on keeping it off. Here’s a clipping:

That night, we had reservations at a super fancy French restaurant, known internationally for their amazingly rich food. Um, why did we decide to go there? Because we thought it would be “special” – and that’s what you’re supposed to do for an anniversary, right? Except that we didn’t need a highly caloric cream sauce and a super stuffy atmosphere to remind of us of what we have and what we’ve worked for in our relationship. So we left and went to a more relaxed seafood restaurant and had an amazing night.

Yay for switching from super fancy place to more laid back place! I hate fancy places. But that’s just me. Hehe.

Didn’t I just post about the last… ummm… post… yesterday? I think I’m not keeping up as well as maybe I should be. But I digress…

There’s a new blog post up at the Jenny Craig site. Sara has been posting for 30 weeks now. If I recall correctly, this means that she’s been on the program for about 32 weeks now. This latest post is all about her having reached her final goal of 50 pounds and where she’s going from here. Here’s a quick clip:

So what is my plan moving forward? Well, you’re not done with me yet. I plan to be a part of the Jenny Craig family for a long time. I’ll be blogging as I move into maintenance and I still have some toning and shaping that I’d like to do… oh yeah, and there’s also that half marathon. As a result, I’ll probably continue on this whole working out kick that I’ve been on. I also need to get my butt into gear and start planning my wedding.

Part of the reason it’s going so well is that I’m feeling amazing. Now, over the past many months people have been saying to me “You must feel amazing!”… but the truth is that I often didn’t feel amazing. I definitely felt better than I had before, but I just hadn’t gotten to amazing yet. I knew that I was on the right path, but I also knew that I still had a lot of work to do.

A quick post to let you know that there’s a new jlog over at the JC site. Here’s a quick cut:

Now, I did actually have the weekend (actually, it was Sunday and Monday) off so I wasn’t completely without free time. So what did I do on Sunday? Um, I met up with Christopher Ross Lane (who trained Valerie for her marathon) and ran six miles… in a row! This is getting nuts. SIX MILES?! Who does that?

Before this part, Sara mentions she’s lost 45.8 pounds. First off, why do they have to be so specific. Just round it. It’ll make the world a better place. Really. Haha. And Secondly, 46 poounds? That’s a lot. I wonder when she’s going to stop? Obviously the folks at Jenny Craig and her doctor will hopefully let her know when she’s lost enough. Or at least they better.

Don’t forget… Dieting can be just as addictive as food can be.

Also, I’m working on setting up a new video app to use on the video pages. It’ll be neater looking than several video windows on one page. Here’s a sample (hope it works!). I’m working on getting thumbnail images so we don’t have to look at those black boxes all the time. Should be fininshed updating this in the next couple weeks:

The amount of new material (though entirely JC related) today is quite a surprise. Also a surprise is that they’ve not changed the pic on the link from thelast commercial, so I’m wondering what others I may have missed… Ah well. Finally get to see her in a moving picture (how OLD am I?) wearing that dress thing she’s wearing in some of the JC pics. I find it interesting that the color is very different. Alternate outfit, or photoshop? I’m guessing the latter.
